ZZ Top Concert @ the Rodeo
Well, went to the ZZ Top concert tonight with Matt. The seats weren’t spectacular, but we had a decent view. They weren’t the worst show I’ve ever seen, but certainly not the best. They’d probably be good in a venue like House of Blues or something smaller. We made the mistake of arriving too early, and sat through about two hours of bull riding and various other rodeo activities. Not entirely bad, but really just a waste of time.
What was terrible was the parking! For the amount of cops that were there, they could have had someone directing traffic in the actual lot. We didn’t get home for over an hour after leaving the concert. While sitting in the lot trying to get out, someone decided to start backing up into a car waiting to get out. Of course the guy who was about to get hit was sensible and hit his horn, which promptly pissed the guy off who was backing out. He decided to get out of his car and start shouting that he was backing out and that the other person should make room. Talk about ignorance …
